Girls Lacrosse Defeats Fox Chapel WPIAL Quarterfinals
Congratulations to the varsity girls lacrosse team for defeating Fox Chapel 11 - 7 Thursday night in the WPIAL Quarterfinals. The Panthers scored on a number of beautiful passes by a variety of players. The defense was outstanding throughout the evening led by sophomore Jill Pollon in goal along with senior defenders Lydia Elste, Antoinette Heil and Claire Meakem, junior Katie Jones and freshman JJ Jardini.
The Academy will play Mt. Lebanon Monday evening in the WPIAL Semifinals at Peters Township at 6:00.
