Dear Prospective Families,
Welcome, and thank you for your interest in Sewickley Academy. We are at an interesting time in our world where many are engaging in critical conversations, self-reflection, and awakenings. As a result, each prospective family will be in a different place as they engage in the admissions process. I want you to know the Sewickley Academy Admissions Team is here for you and look forward to supporting your interest in our community.
At Sewickley Academy, now more than ever, we are committed to creating an inclusive community by attracting, enrolling, and celebrating students of different backgrounds, talents, interests, and diverging opinions. We seek kind, empathetic, and responsible students who are bright and curious learners, athletically and artistically expressive, and lively community members. In return, our community will provide vigorous academic preparation and curate intentional and robust learning relationships that foster vital skills, focusing on advocacy, decision-making, and character development.
As you can imagine, admissions at the Academy is different this year. Our typical opportunities for outreach and engagement have changed to ensure the safety of our students, faculty, staff, and administrators. We are committed to making the most of the virtual experience with a robust selection of events, including Sewickley Admissions Coffee Talks, information sessions, and even a virtual open house.
To discover who your child can become at Sewickley Academy, please complete our inquiry form
to begin your exploration. When you are ready, please reach out to our office. Families interested in Lower School admissions (Pre-K through Grade 5) should contact Associate Director of Admissions Jayme Thompson, and inquiries about Middle and Senior Schools and financial aid can reach out to me.
We look forward to getting to know you and engaging with you through the process.
