Coach's Comments
The Sewickley Academy Panthers were back at it with section play on Saturday at Western Beaver. The Panthers started strong getting a run in the 1st and Bordeau pitched his way out of the 1st and the Panthers led 1-0 after an inning. After having two hits in the first the S.A. bats went quiet with only having one in the next 4 innings along with a walk. Bordeau did have his first career start at pitching but only went 1.1 innings allowing 5 runs, 3 hits and unfortunately walked 4 and hit 3 batters. Dimitri Gary came on in relief but the Western Beaver bats were going on this Saturday afternoon as Gary gave up 11 hits, 9 runs, with 7 of them being earned. Sewickley ended up losing 14-1 in 5 innings.
