Coach's Comments

After struggling in the top of the first inning on a rainy afternoon by giving up 5 runs, we played solid softball the remainder of the game in losing 8 - 2. Union, led by their 6 seniors, has a very good team, and we have had many good games with them over the years. We split in playoff games, and last year we shared the section title. It is a healthy relationship, and we will have our hands full going back to their place on Tuesday. The fact that we kept battling the rest of the game despite the large deficit (for our rivalry) is a good sign.
