Senior School History Teacher Travels to South Korea for Professional Development
This past July, I traveled to South Korea with a group of American educators with the generous support of the Korean War Legacy Foundation and Sewickley Academy. This professional development connected me to my curriculum and past enrichment, which continually puts me in the learning seat, prepares me to contextualize historical events for students, and sets me up to share global perspectives.
It was fun to be back home after four straight section contests on the road. Our boys showed that by scoring 61 points in the first three quarters. The passing tonight was crisp as the unselfishness was evident throughout the night. Jett led us in scoring with 25 points on another excellent shooting performance, and Isiah had 16 points on another efficient performance. We had only 6 turnovers with our top eight players. Isaiah led us in rebounding with 10, and Will and Dave had 7 each. Dave led us in assists with 6 and Isiah had 5; many times we had guys making the pass that led to the assist that was crucial.
