Coach's Comments
Playing a critical section game against one of the two teams we entered the evening tied for first in the section, our guys played a composed game with excellent passing, rebounding and defense. We shot 13 of 22 from the three point line as we made excellent passes to set up our shooters as 6 different players hit threes. Our defense held a potent OLSH offense to a season low of 45 points.
Freshman Isiah Warfield and junior Dave Groetsch had splendid games as they played excellent defense, rebounded, passed well and scored 12 and 14 points respectively. Isiah was 4 - 5 from the field and Dave was 5 - 7 from the field. Those two along with Justin, Declan, Chris and Nate gave us a healthy range from 7 to 16 points each.
Congratulations to senior Chris Groetsch for scoring his 1000th point! The Johns Hopkins bound senior has had a stellar career here at the Academy, and we are all so happy for him.
