Boys Soccer Defeats Aquinas 1st Round WPIAL's

Congratulations to the varsity boys soccer team for defeating Aquinas Academy 4 - 0 Tuesday evening in the first round of the WPIAL Playoffs at Avonworth. The defense held strong in the first half, led by seniors Josh Chico and Will Vanella along with sophomore Cooper Wentz in goal. The Panthers came out roaring in the second half, scoring the first goal in the first several minutes by junior Daniel Torres. Juniors Adin Zorn, Michael DiSantis and Lucas Mendonca followed with goals to provide the final margin.

SA will play section opponent Riverside Saturday in the quarterfinals.
