A beautiful day at Nichols Field saw two WPIAL and State playoff teams from last year would meet up for a section contest. Freedom started off fast and scored within the first seven minutes of the game to take a 1-0 lead. The rest of the half had both teams battling but neither team could find the back of the net. The second half started the same way as the first half as Freedom scored their second goal of the game to take a 2-0 lead. Sewickley fought back as Rees Blaylock assisted Max Reyes to cut the score 2-1. However, Sewickley couldn't find their second goal of the day and the game ended by the score of 2-1 Freedom victory. Playing a spectacular game in goal was Dimitri Gary who made 12 saves.
