Jumpstart Middle School

Time: 9:30am – 11:30am

This fun, activity-driven workshop will help incoming Middle School students prepare to be successful from day one. In this course, students will develop the tools needed in middle school, including study skills, planning, and organization. Students will learn to identify their current learning habits and how to adjust them to meet the increased workload and responsibilities of middle school. This course is designed for incoming middle school students as well as 7th and 8th graders who need extra support in these areas. The course is open to students from any school, as most of the curriculum is applicable to all middle schools. However, some aspects of the curriculum will be tailored to Sewickley Academy Middle School.
Additional Information:
Jumpstart MS English will be offered the same week from 12-2pm. Lunch supervision in between courses will be offered by SA faculty from 11:30-12.
