Coach's Comments
South Side Beaver has a good team, and they came ready to compete with us as the halftime score was 35 - 27. However, the third quarter was a thing of beauty as a combination of outstanding defense and superb ball movement and shot making led to a 27 - 3 outcome. The passing in this quarter was truly special and reminded me of championship teams. We hit 12 three pointers in the game as Isiah and Donald each hit 3 threes; Nate adn Rees each hit 2 threes; John and Max each hit a three. Rees was 2 for 2 and Max 1 for 1 from three point line.
Max led us with a career high 8 steals, Isiah had 5 steals and John and Rees each had 3 steals. The hustle all night from all of our players was outstanding! Nate led us in scoring with 24 points including 2 dunks, Isiah had 15 points, Donald 11 points, Rees 8 points and Max 7 points.
