School of Scares Haunts Over 250 Guests

By: Henry Meakem, Senior School President

The Senior School House Summit, an elected group of students from each of the four Senior School Houses, hosted the School of Scares, a haunted house held in the basement of the Events Center in order to raise funds for future student activities, on October 20 and 21.

With the "Haunted Fairytales" theme, participants in the School of Scares were able to experience and interact with the darker sides of the stories of “Hansel and Gretel,” “Snow White,” “Alice and Wonderland,” and “Cinderella.” Continuing a yearly tradition, the School of Scares was scheduled, planned, and put together through the collaboration of many Senior School students and a few faculty members.

We were beyond pleased to see over 250 people in attendance, many of which were Sewickley Academy students and families. Happy Halloween, Sewickley!
