Coach's Comments
Playing in this difficult section in AA has been good for us, even though no one likes losing. Canevin has a group of highly skilled players who along with their coaching staff are a classy group to compete against. Both of our games with them have been thrillers, and each of them has gone the way of the home team with incredibly slight margin of difference between the two teams.
We are proud of the way our players handled a 14 point deficit at halftime. We roared back in the third quarter with great energy and precision. The outcome could have gone either way. A game like this shows both the strengths and the weaknesses of a team. The question is do we want to improve at this point of the season in what is referred to as the dog days of the season. If so, these tight section games along with our challenging non section schedule have provided for us the blueprint for what we do well and what we need to do better.
