Golf State Champions!!!
Congratulations to the varsity golf team for capturing the State Championship by one stroke over Scranton Prep with a final score of 320. The six teams competing were within 17 strokes of each other in a closely contested tournament.
Trailing by 15 strokes midway through the tournament, the Panthers rallied with improved scoring over the stretch run. Senior JF Aber, 1 under par over his last 8 holes, led in scoring with a 77. Junior Tim Fitzgerald was next with a round of 79. Freshman Joey Mucci scored an 81 with a 2 over par score for his final 10 holes. Junior Navin Rana was next with a score of 83 that included 1 over par in his final 8 holes. Senior Zoe Luther concluded her career with a score of 84 that included 3 over par in her final holes.
