Girls Tennis WPIAL Champions

Congratulations to the varsity girls tennis team for defeating Knoch 3 - 2 in the WPIAL Championship Match. The doubles teams of juniors Victoria Keller and Emma DiSantis along with junior Aleena Purewal and sophomore Milla Ivanova won both their sets in quick fashion to give SA an early 2 - 0 lead. Juniors Simran Bedi and Christina Walton were defeated at #2 and #3 singles. The #1 singles match was the only match still playing as junior Evelyn Safar was battling the Knoch #1 player. Evelyn won the third set 6 - 3 to earn the Championship for SA!
