Softball Completes Season in Playoffs
In the WPIAL quarterfinals Sewickley Academy was defeated by Jefferson Morgan 3 - 1 as Alexis Barlock struck out 8 batters and gave up just one earned run. Maggie Goebel had the lone hit for SA, a double. This game marked the end of the careers of four four year starters, Kendall Lightcap, Alina Mattson, Theresa Wilson and Alyssa Winters. This quartet helped lead the Panthers to the quarterfinals all four years and captured a section championship in 2017!
