Girls Basketball Defeats St. Joseph’s PIAA Tournament
aCongratulations to the varsity girls basketball team for defeating St. Joseph’s Academy 36 - 30 Wednesday in the 2nd round of the PIAA Tournament. Senior Kendall Lightcap led the Panthers in scoring with 11 points including the critical go ahead basket in the last minute of the game. She and fellow senior Theresa Wilson went 6 for 6 from the foul line in the fourth quarter. Sophomore Kamryn Lightcap registered 8 points to go with 7 rebounds and freshman Desirea Nance score 8 points off the bench.
