After a disappointing start against Freedom, we were losing 1-0 at halftime. We were having trouble maintaining possession on the narrow football field. After a few halftime suggestions, we tied the game 3 minutes into the second half when Kennedy Stine scored a nice goal from the left side. Halfway through the second half we took the lead when Jordan McClain followed a loose ball play created by Aja Thorpe. Unfortunately, a questionable handball call with minutes left in the game gave Freedom the tying goal. We hit the post, the crossbar and the goalie multiple times in the OT and couldn't pull out the win.
