Senior Named Recipient of the WPIAL James Collins Scholar-Athlete Scholarship Award

Senior Jacquelyn (JJ) Jardini was one of 20 scholar-athletes who received a James Collins Scholar-Athlete Scholarship Award from the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL).
The award, given out annually to 20 scholar-athletes who are nominated by their school administrators, was announced during the league’s annual meeting with school administrators on Wednesday, April 14. Awardees will each receive a $1,000 scholarship. The Fan Morning show announced the recipients on their show Friday, April 16. The WPIAL plans to issue a press release with detailed descriptions of each honoree in the upcoming weeks.

This is the first time in Academy history that we have had students selected in consecutive years, as Zoe Luther '20 earned this honor last year.

Congratulations, JJ!
