This course is designed to introduce the various parts of a microscope and how each functions. Students will collect water samples from local ponds and streams to observe and identify the abundant life that exists, but is often invisible to the naked eye. Students will use their knowledge to determine what are the characteristics common to all living organisms. Walking will be required!

Bring snacks, water, and clothing & shoes that can withstand the elements.
