1949: Increased Enrollment Requires Physical Expansion

Increased enrollment led the Academy to outgrow its present building; therefore, plans moved forward to add a new wing that would contain a kindergarten space, library, science laboratory, and cafeteria. The headmaster at the time, E.M. Clarke, led the groundbreaking in 1949.
