1925: Present-Day Sewickley Academy Charter Granted

John C. Oliver, James Wardrop, and Alexander Tener combine the Munson and Dickinson schools into a new, singular Sewickley Academy. On April 20, 1925, the charter for the present school was granted, and what is considered to be the “fifth Sewickley Academy” opened that fall under the leadership of Headmaster Dr. Raymond I. Haskell.
