Over the past twenty years, the Sewickley Academy Girl's Soccer team has created a tremendous legacy of success. With nine section titles, four WPIAL Championships, and a State Championship, the Sewickley Academy Girl's Soccer team prides itself on hard work, physical fitness, and a commitment to the concept of team. Players of all abilities participate and contribute to our overall success. We set both personal and team goals at the beginning of each season and work hard to meet them. Our training begins in the hot August sun, and we like it best when our season continues through the cold snow of November.
Our trademark is our beautiful passing game which makes us fun to watch. We train to possess the ball, keep it on the ground and use our teammates to advance the play. We also work hard to support each other on defense and trap other teams in their own end. Being equally committed to understanding the game and mastering our skills, we spend a lot of time on both technical and tactical play. To be a member of the Girl's Soccer Team, all that we ask is that you have a desire to play, a positive attitude, and you make a commitment to the team; we'll take care of the rest.
