Girls Varsity Tennis Team Captures the PIAA Title
The Sewickley Academy girls varsity tennis team completed their undefeated season by capturing the state title on Saturday in Hershey.
The victory was a true team effort where each player contributed her part. Congratulations to the team - senior captain Alina Mattson, sophomores Simran Bedi, Emma DiSantis, Victoria Keller, Aleena Purewal, Evelyn Safar, and Christina Walton, and freshmen Sana Singh and Sofia Smith. With only one senior on the team, the future for girls tennis at Sewickley Academy looks bright.
