Boys Basketball Ends Season with Overtime Loss
The varsity boys basketball season concluded in the state semifinals with an overtime loss to OLSH 70 - 68. Sophomores Isiah Warfield 18 points, Jett Roesing 17 points, and Isaiah Smith 15 points led the Panthers in scoring. Senior Dave Groetsch concluded an outstanding career with a 10 point performance to go with his 4 assists. This was the third straight year that SA has advanced to the state semifinals, finishing the season with a Section and WPIAL Championship and a record of 24 - 5.
