Girls Basketball Defeats Aquinas Academy WPIAL Quarterfinals
Congratulations to the varsity girls basketball team for defeating Aquinas Academy by rallying in the fourth quarter for a 42 - 35 victory. Junior Sam Smith led SA in scoring with 13 points followed by junior Theresa Wilson with 9 points, and freshman Bre Warner's 8 second half points. The Panthers will play defending WPIAL Champion Winchester Thurston Tuesday night at 6:30 @ Northgate as part of a girls/boys doubleheader in the WPIAL Semifinals.
