Coach's Comments

On a great day of excellent basketball from many different girls and boys basketball teams to help raise money to fight cancer, our game was a very good one. Despite Isiah being in early foul trouble, we were up 24 - 20 when Nate Ridgeway was injured, forcing him to miss the rest of the game. Although we were not able to win the game, this deficit situation should help us down the road as seniors Jared and Will learned much about themselves in pressure moments through being involved in so many critical plays. Dave, Isaiah and Jett had to adjust as well, and when Isiah returned to play he had to adjust to playing with fouls. All four of them did a very good job with all of this.

While the preference is to learn all of these aspects while winning the game, the ultimate purpose is to prepare better for the upcoming playoffs. We are very proud of the strides our players are making!
