Through a combination of preparation through hard work, commitment to their teammates, respect for the legacy established by previous golfers and golf teams, support through excellent teachers of the game and support from their parents, our guys persevered through a difficult front nine to rally and capture the WPIAL Championship!!!
Our six players shot a total of 35 over par on the first nine. In contrast, we shot a total of 18 over par on the second nine to shoot a total of 406 for our five scorers that reflects the incredible balance we have shown all year. JF shot one over par on his second nine and Peter shot two over par on his second nine to help lead the rally.
So proud of these guys for what they have accomplished all year in what was supposed to be a "rebuilding year." The best news is that we get to spend more time together preparing for and competing at states.
