Coach's Comments

Sewickley Academy defeated Carlynton on a beautiful evening under the lights in Carnegie. Elsa Gordon and Olivia Ryder finished the two goals in the first half that earned the team a 2-1 victory. Cameron Ivy returned to play and brought poise to a chaotic game full of long balls and chasing. With victory in sight late in the second half, Carlynton scored off a corner kick forcing a nail-biting finish. However, Sewickley remained calm and finished strong. With the win, Sewickley moves to 4-1 overall and 2-1 in the section.
