Coach's Comments
We came out strong playing an excellent first half to lead 45 - 29 at half. As expected Laurel did not quit as led by one of the top players in the WPIAL they battled back. Our guys made the right plays down the stretch to protect the lead to improve us to 9 - 1 in the section.
Balanced scoring was the theme again as five players scored between 9 and 17 points. Justin led us in scoring closely followed by Nate, Chris, Declan and Isiah. Chris, Justin and Isiah led us in steals. Chris, Justin and Nate led us in rebounds.
Many thanks to the great crowd we had Friday night. We continue to attract crowds that would not have fit in Snyder Gym, and tonight's student body was boisterous to go with an excellent showing of support from the SA community. As always it was fun to welcome back the Amigos who brightened us with their presence for the first time in the Events Center!
