Coach's Comments
Balanced scoring is becoming the theme for this year's team. We had 5 players score in double figures between 10 and 15 points in seniors Chris Groetsch and Declan Hickton, sophomore Nate Ridgeway and freshmen Isiah Warfield and Isaiah Smith along with junior Dave Groetsch and freshman Andre Wilder who each scored 9 points. We continue to cut back on our number of turnovers, and despite our worst evening of the year from the three point line scored 94 points.
This week we brought up five players from the JV Black team who have working very hard in practice and JV games: sophomores Donald Belt, John DelVecchio, Hussein Haji, Cole Karlik and Cooper White. Our 22 varsity players have been practicing together all year with outstanding practices. In tonight's game we were able to get 18 of the players into the game, and it was fun to see how hard everyone worked throughout the game. In the fourth quarter players such as Sheraj Singh, Andre Wilder, Jett Roesing, Jason Li, Will Nocito, Jared Washington, Lucas Lang and Jake Winningham found ways to make a difference.
