Coach's Comments
Give our guys all the credit in the world after playing two overtime games this week in our thrilling section, we faced an outstanding team in Kennedy, the defending state champion. We showed great mental and physical fortitude as we battled every step of the way.
When Kennedy scored with 50 seconds left in the game, we trailed by 1. Although we did not win the game, once again we showed what is possible with this team. This journey has been amazing as the combined won lost record of our opponents has been 55 - 26 (ignoring the results of our games with them). We are progressing nicely through this and, as we shore things up, the opportunities for growth is incredible.
Congratulations to Nate Ridgeway who was chosen as the Most Outstanding Player and to Justin Pryor who was chosen as All-Tournament in the cancer fundraiser!
