Coach's Comments
In the opening game of the season we played a 5A team that is going to be very good. Candidly, they are not at full speed yet since they are coming off another outstanding football season but as they showed in the second night of the tournament when they came close to beating Peters, they have a good team. What was most impressive was our 47 - 19 run in the second and third quarters.
Our team rebounding was outstanding as we had the following players with between 5 and 8 rebounds: Justin, Declan, Isaiah, Nate, Chris, Andre and Dave. Chris led us in points with 20 followed by Nate with 19 and Justin with 14. We had 4 more players between 6 and 8 points in Declan, Isiah, Isaiah and Andre.
All in all, a good start to the season!
