Seven Senior School Students Receive Pittsburgh Regional Scholastic Writing Awards

Seven Senior School students received high honors in the 2021 Pittsburgh Regional Scholastic Writing competition, a program sponsored by the Western Pennsylvania Writing Project.
According to its website, the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards offer students an incredible chance for regional and national recognition of their writing skills, as well as for scholarship opportunities. This year, students in Allegheny County submitted nearly 500 works.
 
Senior Milla Dobrovolska-Ivanova received an American Voice Nomination in Flash Fiction for her piece, "I Know Her Name." All of our other winners are listed below.
