Girls Basketball Defeated in WPIAL Semifinals
The varsity girls basketball team was defeated by West Greene 46 - 45 in an exciting WPIAL semifinal playoff game. The Panthers had three shots around the basket that did not fall in the final 7 seconds of the intense game. Junior Kamryn Lightcap led the Panthers in scoring with 12 points, sophomore Des Nance scored 11 points and junior Bre Warner registered 10 points. Junior Mia DelVecchio hit two critical three point shots for the Panthers.
