Cross Country Completes Season
The boys team finished their season at the WPIAL Championships placing 20th out of 30 teams. Junior captain Matthew Meakem led the way followed by senior Sam Rampelt, junior Zachary Rampelt, senior captain Joe Wyche, and sophomore Leo Farmerie to round out the scoring top 5. Senior captain Ben Madison, competing as the 6th runner, also made an impact by helping to break a tie between Bishop Canevin, propelling SA into the top-20. Congratulations boys on a well-performed final race!
Without a team all season, only one girl could compete at the WPIAL Championships this past Thursday. Sophomore Maddie Wren, who had been in a walking boot for 3 weeks prior to the race, was able to push past the injury and complete her season's goal of running at WPIALs! Congratulations Maddie!
