Girls Tennis State Champions!!!
Congratulations to the varsity girls tennis team for capturing the PIAA State Championship for the second straight year by defeating Knoch 3 - 0 Saturday evening!!!
Junior Evelyn Safar clinched the championship point by defeating her opponent 6 - 1, 6 - 4. Earlier the #1 doubles team of juniors Victoria Keller and Emma DiSantis won their match 6 - 1, 7 - 5 and the #2 doubles team of junior Eleena Purewal and sophomore Milla Ivanova won their match 6 - 1, 6 - 0. The matches at #2 and #3 singles were most competitive and were pulled when the Panthers won the championship.
