Coach's Comments
On perhaps the brightest and warmest day we have competed at Cedarbrook, our players rose to the challenge to earn the distinction of WPIAL Champions! Despite the friendly weather conditions, the course was set up difficult with a number of tough pins. Higher scores were witnessed in all four tournaments contested today.
JF shot an incredible round of 1 under par 71 to set the tone for the team. Tim came in with a most respectable score of 80. Our last three players on the course knew that bogeys were fine with some tricky holes to play, and all three came up big for the team with Will shooting an 84, Navin an 85 and Joey an 86.
The hard work from everyone on the team drove us to this level of play. The work ethic of this team is tremendous, and the championship is a reflection of the team's desire to get better and have fun all season.
