Girls Basketball Defeats North Clarion PIAA 1st Round
Congratulations to the varsity girls basketball team for defeating North Clarion 44 - 36 Saturday in the first round of the PIAA Tournament. Sophomore Kamryn Lightcap led the Panthers with 18 points and 9 rebounds. Senior Kendall Lightcap led SA with 5 assists to go with her 7 points. Seniors Theresa Wilson and Myra Samuel along with sophomore JJ Jardini held the leading scorer from North Clarion to just two points for the game. JJ also scored some critical baskets in the fourth quarter.
