Application Process

Thank you for your interest in Sewickley Academy! Sewickley Academy welcomes qualified applicants with a variety of talents, interests, and perspectives, without regard to race, religion, gender, national or ethnic origin, or sexual orientation. We seek students who are motivated and enthusiastic about learning, and who will contribute to and benefit from the stimulating academic environment offered here.

Applications will be considered on a rolling basis.

  • Parent Talk and Tour

    • The best way to learn more about the Early Childhood program is to visit our campus and see it in action. 
    • A Parent Talk and Tour is an interview with an admission director and a tour of the Early Childhood building and the Lower School.

  • Online Application

    In order to begin the application process please complete our Online Inquiry Form. After you complete the online inquiry form directions will be emailed to you about how to create your online account which you will use to complete our online application.

  • Student Screening Session at Sewickley Academy

    • First round applicants will attend a screening session in January. A small group of students gather for a group screening of “school readiness.” The session involves free play and group and individual tasks. There is a forum for parents to attend during this time to learn more about “school readiness” and to mingle with other prospective parents.
    • If there are still seats available, other screening sessions will be planned in the spring for rolling admission.
