Future plans: “I want to be a doctor and continue to play lacrosse. My dream is to attend and play for Johns Hopkins.”
Role model: “My dad. He is a hard worker.”
Favorite thing about SA: “The community and how connected we all are.”
Spotlight: A lacrosse player, Eli says he “picked up a stick in third grade and, while I was a little uncertain at first, I haven’t looked back since.” These days, he is a face off midfielder for the Red Hots National Lacrosse team which is currently ranked second of 353 teams across the country in the 2027/U14 age group. The team was formed in 2019 by some parents who were looking to provide their children with a more advanced level of competition. Eli spends nearly every weekend traveling with his father and the team, often heading to Philadelphia and locations in Maryland, though they also played in Vail, Colorado this season. The team won the Club Lacrosse National Championship in Orlando, Florida this past December which was the same month that Eli captured a second place finish in his age group at the Face Off National Showcase in New Jersey. When it comes to lacrosse, Eli likes “the fast pace and being with the team."
