The varsity baseball team gave a great effort but fell short to the West Greene Pioneers 12-7 in the WPIAL Playoffs. The game started with a spectacular diving catch in the bottom of the 1st inning by senior Nick Wilson. The Panthers didn’t go down without swinging. They had a combined 11 hits as a team. Sophomore Adin Zorn had 2 hits and 2 RBIs. Senior Hudson Bordeau, freshman Jordan Smith, and sophomore Bennett Spencer each contributed 2 hits. This team showed fight until the last out. The Panthers end the season with an overall record of 7-6.
Many thanks to seniors Hudson Bordeau, Thomas Sykes and Nick Wilson for all of their contributions to our baseball program. We wish the seniors good luck, they will be missed!
