Junior’s Gold Key Portrait on Display at Pittsburgh Arts Region 2016 Art Exhibition
Lakshmi Amin’s portrait painting of Amy Winehouse is part of the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards / Pittsburgh Arts Region 2016 Art Exhibition at the Community College of Allegheny County – North Campus.
Visionary Instincts, the 2016 Art Exhibit of Students in Grades 7-12, is open Monday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. from February 6 – 20, 2016. Gold and Silver Key awarded work will be on display, and all Honorable Mention awarded work will be displayed digitally.
Lakshmi’s artwork was selected from over 2,000 entries and named the “Best in Show Gold Key Winner.” Her portrait will be automatically entered in the national level competition held in New York next month.
