Boys Soccer State Champions!
Congratulations to the varsity boys soccer team for defeating East Juniata 3 - 0 Friday in the PIAA Championship Game in Hershey in front of a most supportive group of SA fans! Junior Brennan Doyle opened the scoring twenty three minutes into the game by heading a pass from senior Matt Teitlebaum into the net. Junior Tommy LaSorda scored the second Panther goal ten minutes later to give SA a 2 - 0 lead at half. Matt Teitlebaum completed the scoring with a blast from the middle of the field. The defense was stellar all night led by senior goalie Jackson O'Neill, seniors Gus O'Connor, Todd Doyle, and Ryder MacDougall along with juniors Ben Mulholland, Paul Chropek, and Mike Napoleone who were stifling on defense.
