Earlier in the school year, Senior School Technology Coordinator Mrs. Cristy McCloskey along with six students – four juniors and two seniors – in her Interactive Design and Development class visited an escape room in Pittsburgh and were inspired to take on the challenge to design, build, and run their own.
On Friday, April 22, a collaboration between the students of Sewickley Academy's Ephemera, the students of Quaker Valley’s literary magazine, Bittersweet, and the Sewickley Area librarians resulted in an open mic event titled Off-Beat! at the Sewickley Public Library.
On Wednesday, April 27, author and Sewickley Academy Senior School English teacher Lawrence Connolly will be visiting the Penguin Bookshop in Sewickley to talk about writing stories and adapting them for film.
