Directions to the Burkett Soccer Field
Our new field is now located in the lower portion of the Robinson Township - Burkett Sports Complex.
From Interstate 79 take Exit 60 (old exit 16) onto Route 60 North and head toward the airport.
If you are coming from the south, you will get off at Exit 60A (old exit 16) "Crafton Moon Run" and turn left at the light at the bottom of the exit ramp.
If you are coming from the north, you will get off at Exit 60B (old exit 16B) "Airport Moon Run" and merge on to Route 60 North.
In both cases, take Route 60 North (Steubenville Pike) for approximately one mile.
You will go through one traffic light, if you come to a second light you have gone too far.
After the traffic light you will see Somma Funeral home on your left, make the first left onto McCormick Road.
Follow McCormick Road for approximately 1/2 mile.
Turn right into the park, there is a blue sign for Burkett Recreation and Sports Complex marking the road.
The soccer field is on the left.
Parking is available on the driveway up to the field.
If you are using an internet map service use 5476 Steubenville Pike, (or 23 McCormick Road) McKees Rocks PA 15136 for an address and look for Robinson Community Park.
If you are playing at the "upper" field. This field is located behind the new Pony Baseball field in the same park.
There is only one road in the park so if you enter from Route 60 or from McCormick Road it will take you to either field.
The other entrance to Burkett Park is located on Route 60 (Steubenville Pike).
If you are heading North on 60 (toward the mall/airport) then the entrance is the first left after the large red brick Burkett Elementary School.
If you are heading South on 60 (from the mall/airport) then the entrance is a quick right before the Burkett Elementary School. When you see Butya's Restaurant on the left look for the entrance on the right.
As you proceed in the park past the first stop sign by the Pony baseball field make the first left after the field for the parking lot of the soccer field.
