Greetings from the Director of Admission & Financial Aid

Thank you for your interest in Pittsburgh's oldest independent school. We are very proud of our history, tradition, campus, and people, which combine to define Sewickley Academy. While our website will help you gain a better understanding of our school, we believe that a personal visit will be invaluable in your learning more about the Academy. We welcome you to campus to explore the possibilities!

From our beginning over 170 years ago until today, the men and women of the faculty have been the core of our school by assuming many roles for the students including teacher, tutor, role-model, advisor, coach, and friend. While we feel that our faculty are exceptional, we invite you to see for yourself by visiting campus where you can take a tour, observe a class, and meet the many wonderful people who are part of this community.
