On the boys side: we defeated Rochester 68-59 and lost to Beaver Falls 57-87, where we were ahead of them on the track but fell behind in field events. Notables were: the boys 4x400m team of Neo, Charlie, Jason and Jalen who ran a smokin' 3:47, Charlie and Owen in the 1600m and Pieter H in the 3200m. Carrington swept the long and triple jumps against all opponents.
Sportsmanship and the ability to win or lose with grace and humility are at the core of the teachings of the athletic program. Participation on the field, court, course, and in the pool offers students a way to meld academic pursuits with those that open doors to friendships, leadership, and teamwork.
