This is a competitive interscholastic varsity sport for boys and girls grades 9-12. Track is a spring sport (March through May) and the team does most of its training at Quaker Valley High School's track. Track and Field consists of eighteen different running, jumping and throwing events.
The program is one of the newest at Sewickley Academy, and it has made tremendous progress. Competing in the WPIAL, the relative small size of our squad has not precluded success. We have had athletes qualify for states the past six years.
The spirit and comraderie of our squad is outstanding. Whether competing during the cold winds of March or the sun drenched days of May, our student-athletes thrive on improving their personal bests while encouraging their teammates to do the same.
